Welcome to Toogah Town!

Where teams of imperfect turtles help you build fantastic fidget toys and other fun stuff!

Some of them hold their connector sticks perfectly. Some stubbornly resist. Others have a tendency to drop them. But, just like working with humans, that’s part of the challenge. In fact, it’s a big part of their purpose.

While Toogahs were born out of a STEM toy competition, their turtle team theme is all about community building. About working together for the common good. About including everyone in the process despite their differences and perceived limitations.

So, keep that in mind as you play with them. If, for example, one of the toogahs keeps dropping sticks, is there a place in what you’re building where that could be an advantage? If not, will they fit in somewhere else? If another is resistant, can you twist the sticks as you insert them to make them easier for that toogah to hold?

Especially right now, the world needs creative problem solvers with compassionate hearts. If that’s you, you’re gonna love it in Toogah Town!

Assembly Hack

To extend the life of the connectors, the ends are designed to fit snugly the first time you use them. To get started, we advise twisting the connectors as you insert them into the turtle’s legs. Once they’re all the way in, twist them around a few more times until they spin freely. Doing this to both ends of each stick before you start building will make assembly easier. Younger children may need adult help with this first step.
